This is a Sources Sought Notice for information only. This is not a request for quotes/proposals or an invitation for bids.
In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 10.002(b), this Sources Sought Notice is for market research and information purposes only at this time and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation. This notice is to determine the availability of small businesses (including the following subsets, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, HUBZone Firms; Certified 8(a), Service- Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business and Woman Owned Small Business) to provide the required services.
Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to seek a Contractor to provide all labor, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform annual preventive maintenance (PM) and repair services for sixty-six (66) sewing machines of various manufacturers and models. All preventive maintenance services shall be executed on a recurring quarterly basis to ensure optimal, continuous operational readiness.
The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811210 and the Product Service Code (PSC) J049 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment: Maintenance and Repair Shop Equipment.
Additional details and specification can be found in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). Tentative Period of Performance will be from 30 September 2026 – 29 September 2030.
This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
To be evaluated for technical merit and capability, statements must be received by the stated deadline. In determining whether or not to compete this requirement, the Government has sole discretion.
