Description

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), National Minerals Information Center (NMIC), intends to award a non-competitive purchase order to S&P Global Market Intelligence LLC, located in New York, NY for corporate site license to S&P Capital IQ, for the period of 08/12/2026 through 08/11/2027 and three (3) Option Periods. The Option Periods are as follows: Option Period One (1): 08/12/2027 - 08/11/2028Option Period Two (2): 08/12/2028 - 08/11/2029Option Period Three (3): 08/12/2029 - 08/11/2030S&P Global Market Intelligence contains unique data sets and analytical functionality that cover global production (annual capacity, locations, ownership, development plans, development plans, resources of deposits, etc. for mines, along with similar information on processing facilities), consumption (details on future end uses), stocks, trade and technology, as well as industry structure. The platform is the only vendor that provides drilling results and offers detailed modeled cost information for at least 75% of operating mines across at least 12 commodities, along with broader reported cost data than competing sources.In accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) 5.101(c)(4)(vi), all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS.
