Description
Jacksonville State University is requesting proposals for the maintenance, service, and monitoring of life safety fire alarm equipment, excluding sprinkler systems and inspections. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, and documentation necessary to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and certify the fire alarm system in accordance with NFPA 72, manufacturer recommendations, and applicable codes. The scope includes servicing all components of the fire alarm system such as control panels, detectors, notification appliances, and communication equipment. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 5, 2026, and proposals must be received by August 18, 2026, with no electronic bids accepted.
