Description

The County of San Diego is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide Construction Manager at Risk services for the preconstruction and construction phases of the Vista Detention Facility Infrastructure and Facility Upgrade project. The project includes renovation of the intercom and CCTV systems, installation of anti-ligature features, and integration of a centralized security backbone controlling cameras, cell doors, lighting, access points, elevators, and water shutoff systems. The delivery method is Construction Manager at Risk with a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP). The project budget is estimated not to exceed $16,790,000. Construction is expected to begin in Summer 2026 and complete by Winter 2028.
