Description
The Government of Saskatchewan, Ministry of Immigration and Career Training (ICT), Career and Employment Services intends to contract with YWCA Saskatoon Inc. to provide transportation industry training to women. The program, called Women Shifting Gears, supports women in Saskatoon to prepare for, obtain, and maintain employment within Saskatchewan's trucking industry. Services include participant assessment, individualized employment planning, industry-specific training, employability and workplace readiness development, experiential learning opportunities, employment-related supports, and employer engagement activities.
