US Forest Service Architect-Engineer Civil Structural IDIQ for Transportation Systems

The US Forest Service, part of the USDA, is seeking multiple Architect-Engineer (A-E) firms for a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to support transportation systems across Northern and Central US states. - Government Buyer: - US Forest Service (USDA), CSA Intermountain 3 office - Contact: Crystal Amos - Scope of Services: - Civil, structural, water, and wastewater design and inspection services - Bridge and road design, field inspection, surveying, load rating, engineering review, construction support - Specialized services: bridge inspection team leadership, rope access inspection, UAV and underwater inspection, airport engineering, project management - Additional disciplines: hydraulic, geotechnical, environmental, landscape architecture - Contract Structure: - IDIQ contract with at least 5 firms awarded - 5-year performance period - $8M total ceiling; $2,500 minimum guarantee in first 3 years - Firm-fixed price task orders issued as needed - Unique Requirements: - Small business set-aside - Firms must submit SF 330 qualifications - Services span multiple states (Montana, Idaho, Colorado, etc.) - No OEMs, vendors, products, or part numbers specified; focus is on professional engineering services

Description

The Architect-Engineer (A-E) Contractor shall provide design services and related work that includes but is not limited to civil, structural, water, waste water design and inspection services primarily for structures and other components of United States Forest Service transportation systems.  Specific project requirements will be outlined in the individual task order descriptions and in subsequent pre-design meetings, briefings, or informational meetings. Engineering firms meeting the requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit responses.
