NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic is seeking qualified contractors for a comprehensive renovation of the 1st floor rooms at the Devil Dog Inn, Building 3673, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NC. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Navy, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic - FEAD Cherry Point office - Scope of Work: - Renovation of 1st floor rooms in Building 3673 (Devil Dog Inn) - Asbestos remediation of approximately 11,375 sq ft of 12" tan/gray tile and mastic in 39 units - Lead paint assessment and control for door frames and doors in rooms 126 and 155 - Demolition and installation of: - Plastic-laminate-clad architectural cabinets - Solid surfacing fabrications (countertops, sinks, vanities) - Joint sealants (interior/exterior, low VOC) - Steel and wood doors (including acoustical and water-resistant types) - Door hardware (hinges, locks, closers, etc.) - Acoustical ceilings (Type III, recycled content) - Resilient flooring (luxury vinyl tile, recycled content) - Paints and coatings (low VOC, lead- and mercury-free) - Plumbing fixtures (water closets, lavatories, sinks, mixing valves, backflow prevention) - Environmental and Safety Requirements: - Strict compliance with OSHA, EPA, and indoor air quality standards - Construction waste management and quality control - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are named; contractors must meet technical and environmental specifications outlined in the RFP and attachments.
