This opportunity is for the provision of Catholic Music Director services at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona, supporting the base's Catholic Community. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 56th Fighter Wing, Luke Air Force Base, Chaplain Corps - Services Requested: - Catholic Music Director/Musician services for approximately 175 events per year (base year and each of four option years) - Responsibilities include playing, training, scheduling, and processing music for liturgies and special services, leading rehearsals, recruiting and coordinating volunteers, providing audio/visual lyrics, and maintaining government-owned musical instruments and equipment - Contractor must have at least 2 years of college or equivalent experience, vocal leadership, and music arrangement skills - Must undergo a criminal background check and provide qualified replacements as needed - Government will furnish instruments and equipment; contractor is responsible for care and reporting maintenance needs - Products: - No products or OEM equipment are being procured; only professional services are requested - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Estimated 175 events per year, with a total potential of 875 events over five years - Contract includes a base year plus four option years - Set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 813110 (Religious Organizations) - All services must comply with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) - Inspection and acceptance at Luke AFB - Contractor must be able to provide a qualified substitute if unavailable

Description

Luke AFB is seeking a Music Director to provide music activities for the Luke AFB Catholic Community.  The Music Director shall provide labor and management to support the responsibilities outlined within the attached PWS.  The contract includes, but is not limited to playing, training, scheduling, and processing music for liturgies within the service in collaboration with the Luke AFB Catholic Chaplain.

The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.

The Government requests quotes remain firm through September 30, 2026. If market volatility prevents this, clearly state the maximum length of time quote pricing can be held.
