FEMA Region 1 is seeking installation of a high-efficiency ductless mini-split HVAC system at the Federal Regional Center in Maynard, Massachusetts. - Government Buyer: - Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Region 1, Federal Regional Center - OEMs and Vendors: - Mitsubishi (specified as the standard for equivalency) - Products/Services Requested: - High-efficiency Hyper-Heat inverter mini-split system (35 SEER, Mitsubishi Multi-zone 36,000 BTU Wall-mounted or equivalent) - 1 outdoor condenser unit with wall bracket - 2 indoor wall-mounted units with wired, passcode-capable temperature controls - Refrigerant lines, insulation, and duct covers - Materials for installation (NSN 7540-01-152-8067) - Labor for installation (site prep, electrical, refrigerant lines, testing, commissioning, training, and cleanup) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - System must meet or exceed Mitsubishi Multi-zone 36,000 BTU specifications - All lines must be hidden in slim duct covers - Wired wall-mounted temperature controls must have passcode capability - Includes manufacturer warranty and one-year workmanship warranty - Compliance with all state and federal regulations - Mandatory site visit required - Completion required within 90 days of contract award
