Description

Marine Corps Installastion East (MCIEAST) intend to procure a Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) System Replacement with incidental installation services.

This procurement is Brand Name under NAICS code 334220 size standard of 1250 employees.

This system will restore reliable portable radio coverage throughout the facility and allow facility personnel to operate on the installation’s current trunked radio system. The existing amplifier was manufactured in approximately 2012 and was configured for a previous radio system operating in a different frequency range. It does not support the frequency bands currently used by the installation’s Enterprise Land Mobile Radio (ELMR) system and cannot effectively provide the required coverage, resulting in critical radio dead zones. This requirement is for a complete operational solution (associated components, programming, professional installation, system integration, testing, and final operational acceptance) and is not intended to be an equipment-only purchase.
