General Requirements include MIL-STD Packaging, Government Source Inspection, FOB Source, CAV Reporting. C. This RFQ is for REPAIR. The award will be issued bilaterally, requiring written acceptance prior to execution. Verify nomenclature, part number, and NSN before responding. D. Only a firm-fixed (FFP), not-to-exceed (NTE), or estimated (EST) price for the REPAIR will be accepted. Quotes for test and evaluation (T&E) only will NOT be accepted. The quote must be for the REPAIR of the item(s). E. Must adhere to IUID requirements of DFARS 252.211-7003. F. The awardee must be an authorized repair source. Award will not be delayed for authorization. G. Repair Turnaround Time (RTAT): 216 days after receipt of asset. The RTAT is measured from asset return to acceptance, with specific definitions provided. The contractor must report all transactions accurately within the specified timeframe. Note: Freight is handled by Navy CAV as per NAVSUPWSSFA24. H. Throughput Constraint: The contractor must specify the number of assets to be repaired monthly after initial delivery. Zero indicates no constraint. Induction Expiration Date: 365 days after contract award. Assets received after this date are not authorized for repair without bilateral agreement. I. Important Note on Price Reduction: If RTAT is not met, a price reduction per unit/month applies, unless delays are excusable. The contractor must specify the reduction amount. J. Quote must include justification details such as repair unit price, total price, RTAT, new unit price, capacity constraints, T&E fee/price, award to CAGE, inspection & acceptance CAGE, facility/subcontractor CAGE, cost breakdown, quote expiration, and delivery vehicle.
1. Scope This contract includes requirements for repair and quality standards for the RELAY MODULE ASSY.
2. Applicable Documents The listed documents form part of this contract, including modifications. They must be obtained by the contractor.
3. Requirements Items must meet operational and functional requirements as per the Cage Code(s) and reference numbers listed. All repair work shall follow the contractor's standards, manuals, and directives, including drawings and technical orders. CAGE: 8K596 Ref. No.: 7344105G001 Marking shall comply with MIL-STD-130, REV N, 16 NOV 2012. 4. Quality Assurance Responsibility for inspection lies with the contractor unless otherwise specified. The government reserves the right to inspect. All items must meet contract requirements. 5. Packaging Preservation, packaging, packing, and marking shall follow the contract schedule and MIL-STD 2073.
