USMC Solicits Laundry Services for 450 Personnel in Guam

The US Marine Corps is seeking sources for laundry services to support approximately 450 personnel in Guam during a scheduled exercise. - Government Buyer: - Commanding General, USMC, MARCORP I&L - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Products/Services Requested: - Laundry and drycleaning services for about 450 personnel - Includes pickup and delivery at designated locations - Washing, drying, and folding of pants and shirts (no special handling or starching required) - Laundry must be tagged, and a receipt of total weight provided - Laundry must be returned within 48 hours of pickup - Contractor must replace lost or damaged items at no cost if due to negligence - Vendors should specify the maximum number of clothing items per person they can handle - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Service must include both pickup and drop-off - Strict 48-hour turnaround for laundry return - Accountability for lost or damaged items - No products, part numbers, or OEM-specific requirements; this is a service-only procurement - Vendors are asked to review the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for technical details and provide business information

Description

THIS IS A SOURCE SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. This is NOT a Request for Quotation and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract/purchase order. The purpose of this Source Sought Synopsis is to seek out interested businesses capable of fulfilling this service requirement.

Expeditionary Contracting Platoon, Okinawa is performing market research to determine available sources that can provide:

 laundry services, pick up/ drop off for approximately 450 personnel. The period of performance will be approximately from 6 -September – 23 September 2026.The location of services will be GUAM.
