Inc. (Original Equipment Manufacturer of the specified string) - Products/Services Requested: - 120 spools of STRING, NOMEX/KEVLAR - Part number: 857516125-SYN - 1/8" diameter, 1000 feet per spool - Braided Kevlar core with braided Nomex sleeve and polyurethane finish - Must comply with 46 CFR 164.009-15 for non-combustible materials for merchant vessels - Must hold a knot without slipping under a 750 lb. test - No substitutions allowed without prior testing and approval - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Strict compliance with fire safety restrictions and federal regulations - Product must be delivered to Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard - Firm fixed price contract

Evaluation criteria is Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). PPIRS will be used to determine vendor responsibility.  Potential contractors will be screened for responsibility in accordance with FAR 9.104.
