This opportunity involves the procurement of advanced X-ray inspection systems for the 60th Aerial Port Squadron at Travis Air Force Base: - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 60th Contracting Squadron (60 CONS) and 60th Aerial Port Squadron, Travis AFB - Products Requested: - Two dual-view, TSA-regulated X-ray inspection systems: - One large parcel system (38x38 inch tunnel, 30-inch conveyor height) - One compact checkpoint system (30x22 inch tunnel, 28-inch conveyor height) - Both systems must include Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), advanced imaging features (3/6 color, black & white, enhanced, organic/inorganic, high-resolution material discrimination) - Services Required: - White glove delivery (trucking, offloading, uncrating, staging, debris removal) - Professional installation and operator training - Decommissioning and safe disposal of two legacy Rapiscan 620DV X-ray machines - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All systems must be TSA-certified and dual-view - Minimum 1-year warranty covering parts, labor, and annual maintenance - Decommissioning must comply with local environmental and military regulations - OEMs/Vendors: - Rapiscan (legacy equipment referenced) - No specific OEMs for new systems named, but requirements align with leading X-ray security system manufacturers - The procurement is anticipated as a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside, firm-fixed-price contract, awarded based on Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable criteria

Description

The 60th Contracting Squadron at Travis Air Force Base intends to establish a Firm Fixed Price contract to provide 2 X-ray inspection systems to the 60th Aerial Port Squadron . See attachments for the Statement of Work (SoW) which has a description of this requirement. The intent is to solicit this requirement as 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. This posting is a Pre-solicitation Notice for the purpose of market research of an upcoming requirement. This is not a solicitation. However, this requirement is intended to be solicited this Fiscal Year.
