This Sources Sought Synopsis is published for information, planning and market research purposes only. The United States Marine Corps Logistics Command (MARCORLOGCOM) is seeking qualified business sources to acquire operational distribution management support services in support of Fleet Marine Force readiness. Requirements are dynamic and may vary in scope, duration, complexity, and location.

The contractor shall provide Distribution Management Support Services on behalf of Marine Corps Logistics Command and the Marine Corps in the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS) locations. The support consists of, but is not limited to:

Integrated Logistics Support 

Program Management 

Distribution Management 

Metrics and analysis 

Supply Chain Advocacy 

Container Control/Inventory Advocacy 

The preparation for transportation of Marine Corps Military Equipment (ME) and other supplies and material. 

Support will be required across four primary domains.

Enterprise Distribution Analytics & Strategy 

This domain encapsulates all data science, operations research, executive reporting, and strategic planning. 

Nodal Expediting & Process Advocacy 

This domain encapsulates the active routing, tracking, and unfrustrating of cargo across the enterprise. 

Financial & Transportation Account Management 

This domain encapsulates the financial business logic and billing reconciliation. 

Physical Freight & Container Operations 

This domain encapsulates the physical, touch-labor layer of logistics.
