The United States Marine Corps Logistics Command (MARCORLOGCOM), under the Department of the Navy, is seeking qualified business sources for comprehensive Distribution Management Support Services (DMSS) to enhance Fleet Marine Force readiness worldwide. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Navy, Marine Corps Logistics Command (MARCORLOGCOM) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named in the opportunity - Products/Services Requested: - Distribution Management Support Services (DMSS) covering: - Integrated logistics support - Program management (including a dedicated Program Manager) - Distribution management and process advocacy - Metrics, analytics, and operations research - Supply chain and inventory advocacy - Container control and physical freight operations - Financial and transportation account management - Nodal expediting and cargo tracking (including sensitive and hazardous items) - On-site support at multiple U.S. and international locations (e.g., Albany, GA; Camp Pendleton, CA; Yokosuka, Japan; Ramstein, Germany) - Key personnel: Program Manager, Distribution Process Advocates, Distribution Expeditors, Logistics Analysts, Transportation Financial Analysts - Compliance with safety, training, and security (Secret clearance required) - Provision of specified Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Global support for Marine Corps logistics and distribution operations - Real-time workflow visibility and coordination across multiple Combatant Commands - Firm-fixed-price contract structure - Small business participation encouraged - Estimated contract value around $20 million - Period of performance includes a base period, four option years, and a possible six-month extension

This Sources Sought Synopsis is published for information, planning and market research purposes only. The United States Marine Corps Logistics Command (MARCORLOGCOM) is seeking qualified business sources to acquire operational distribution management support services in support of Fleet Marine Force readiness. Requirements are dynamic and may vary in scope, duration, complexity, and location.

The contractor shall provide Distribution Management Support Services on behalf of Marine Corps Logistics Command and the Marine Corps in the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS) locations. The support consists of, but is not limited to:

Integrated Logistics Support 

Program Management 

Distribution Management 

Metrics and analysis 

Supply Chain Advocacy 

Container Control/Inventory Advocacy 

The preparation for transportation of Marine Corps Military Equipment (ME) and other supplies and material. 

Support will be required across four primary domains.

Enterprise Distribution Analytics & Strategy 

This domain encapsulates all data science, operations research, executive reporting, and strategic planning. 

Nodal Expediting & Process Advocacy 

This domain encapsulates the active routing, tracking, and unfrustrating of cargo across the enterprise. 

Financial & Transportation Account Management 

This domain encapsulates the financial business logic and billing reconciliation. 

Physical Freight & Container Operations 

This domain encapsulates the physical, touch-labor layer of logistics.
