Caltrans is seeking qualified contractors to provide comprehensive tree trimming, pruning, and removal services across eight counties in District 10. - Government Buyer: - California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), Division of Procurement and Contracts, District 10 - Scope of Work: - Routine and non-routine tree trimming, pruning, skirting, thinning, and removal of trees, shrubs, and vines - Stump grinding and removal, including work adjacent to energized and non-energized power lines - Chipping, debris cleanup, and disposal - Traffic control services if Caltrans is unavailable - Product/Service Line Items: - 200 crew hours for routine tree trimming/pruning/removal (2-person crew) - 100 crew hours for non-routine tree trimming/pruning/removal (2-person crew) - 40 crew hours for routine aerial tree trimming/pruning/removal (4-person crew) - 20 crew hours for non-routine aerial tree trimming/pruning/removal (4-person crew) - 20 stump removals - 20 routine and 20 non-routine traffic control service events - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractors must hold a California C-61/D-49 (Tree Service) or C-49 (Tree Service) license - Required certifications: Arborist, Line Clearance Tree Trimmer, Crane Operator, Motor Carrier Permit - Contract is set aside for certified Small Businesses (SB), Micro Businesses (MB), SB for Public Works (SB-PW), or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) - Compliance with prevailing wage laws if contract exceeds $15,000 - Contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; opportunity is open to all qualified and certified firms meeting the requirements
