The U.S. Navy's Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine, is seeking to rent two high-pressure nitrogen gas tube trailers and related support services to enable High-Pressure Nitrogen Flasks Charging Operations. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Navy, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Contracting Office (Code 410/420) - Products/Services Requested: - Rental of two DOT-certified, trailer-mounted high-pressure nitrogen gas tube trailers - Each trailer must supply nitrogen at 2100–3000 psig - Minimum volume per trailer: 40,000 scf; at least one trailer must have 100,000 scf capacity - Nitrogen purity must meet A-A-59155 Grade A/B or MIL-PRF-27401 standards - Trailer refills throughout the contract period - Delivery, freight, and timely trailer replacement services - Maintenance, repair, and replacement services with strict response times (24-hour technician arrival, 48-hour repair, 72-hour replacement) - Startup training for shipyard personnel - Provision of pressure vessel certifications, laboratory certificates of conformance, and manufacturers certificates of compliance - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strict safety, environmental, and security compliance (including personnel access controls and vehicle inspections) - All equipment must be DOT-rated and certified - Total small business set-aside under NAICS 325120 - Contract includes a base year and three option years - No specific OEMs or part numbers are named; vendors must provide technical data sheets and certifications with their quotes.
