The Town of Regina Beach is seeking contractor quotes for Phase Four of its ongoing sidewalk replacement and addition project on Center St. - Government Buyer: - Town of Regina Beach, Chief Administrative Officer's Office - Scope of Work: - Remove and dispose of existing deteriorated concrete sidewalks and granular materials - Shape subgrade and subbase, set forms, install rebar at crossings - Pour and finish new concrete sidewalks, including all required materials, labor, and equipment - Construct: - 298 linear meters of monolithic curb, gutter, and sidewalk - 38 linear meters of monolithic lowered driveway access sidewalk - 103 parking curbs - Supply and install granular fill, rebar, and ready-mixed concrete - Maintain barricades in the work zone and organize six proctor density tests at 95% in randomly selected locations - Requirements: - All work must comply with City of Regina Specification 2550 and Drawings R7, R7b, R8, and R10 - Contractors must provide all necessary documentation and testing - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; the project is open to qualified contractors able to meet municipal standards

Description

This solicitation is for Phase Four of a multiyear initiative to replace deteriorated concrete sidewalks on Center St. and to add new sidewalk replacements due to construction work. The work includes removal and disposal of existing sidewalks, shaping subgrade and subbase, setting forms, installing rebar at crossings, pouring and finishing concrete. The sidewalks will be constructed as Monolithic Walk, Standard Curb and Gutter according to City of Regina specifications. The contractor is responsible for supplying all equipment, labor, materials, and maintaining barricades in the work zone.
