Description
Valley Metro intends to award a multi-year sole source contract for light rail vehicle (LRV) and streetcar body repair. The contractor must have at least ten years of experience in rail body repair, including fiberglass mold fabrications, and be located within 75 miles of Valley Metro's Operations and Maintenance Center in Phoenix, AZ. The scope includes professional body repair, surface preparation, frame/structural repairs, painting, refinishing, and color matching of LRVs and streetcars. The work will be performed onsite at the OMC facility, with Valley Metro providing a body shop work area, paint booth, and hydraulic rams for frame straightening.
