This opportunity is for comprehensive industrial gas services at the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC), managed by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). - Government Buyer: - Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), DLA Contract Services Office, Columbus-C1, Defense Supply Center Columbus - Key contacts: Becky Hard (Contracting Officer), Jonathan Herd (Contracting Specialist) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or manufacturers are named in the solicitation or attachments - Products/Services Requested: - Rental, installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of industrial gas tanks and systems - Supply and delivery of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG/propane), welding gases (oxygen, acetylene, argon, nitrogen), and medical-grade oxygen - Removal and replacement of two 1000-gallon propane tanks - Quarterly propane delivery (up to 4,000 gallons annually, not to exceed 6,000 gallons) - Servicing and exchange of 23 welding tanks (various gases and sizes) - Supply and maintenance of up to 23 medical-grade oxygen cylinders per quarter - Decommissioning and disposal of existing gas tanks - Miscellaneous repairs, emergency services, and regulatory compliance - Training for DSCC personnel on safety and emergency response - Quantities and Part Numbers: - 1 x 1000-gallon LPG tank (with all components) - Up to 4,000 gallons propane per year (max 6,000 gallons) - 6 x Oxygen welding tanks (251CF), 6 x Acetylene welding tanks (251CF), 5 x Argon/CO2 welding tanks (125CF), 5 x Argon welding tanks (125CF), 1 x Nitrogen welding tank (80CF) - 8 x Medical grade oxygen tanks (226CF), 7 x Medical grade oxygen tanks (14.6CF), 8 x Non-medical grade oxygen tanks (14.6CF) - All tanks and components are owned and maintained by the contractor - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractor must provide all tanks, components, and gases, and is responsible for maintenance, testing, and emergency response - Removal and disposal of old tanks must comply with all federal, state, and local regulations - Training and documentation for government personnel is required - Services must be performed primarily during weekdays, 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding federal holidays - The contract is set aside for SBA-eligible small businesses, with encouragement for HUBZone, SDVOSB, and WOSB participation - Firm fixed-price contract with a base year and four option years
