Description

This solicitation is for the reconstruction of approximately 2,600 square yards of an existing six-inch Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) parking lot. The project includes new PCC curb and gutter, a 5-inch Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) surface on a drainable subbase with sub-drains, removal and replacement of storm sewer, removal and replacement of 4-inch PCC sidewalk, sodding, erosion control, and other related work. The work must comply with plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer of the Engineering Division of the Public Works Department of Bettendorf, Iowa. The contract requires work to commence no later than the date specified in the Notice to Proceed and be completed by November 1, 2026, with liquidated damages of $500 per day for delays past the completion date.
