Description

This Pre-Solicitation Notice is being issued by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Chicago District, to inform interested contractors of the districts intent to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the fabrication, pre-acceptance storage, and delivery of six (6) High Voltage Power Supply units for the CSSC Electric Dispersal Barrier located in Romeoville, Illinois.PROJECT INFORMATION: This is a pre-solicitation notice for a Non-Commercial Supply contract. The project involves the fabrication of four (4) 1.5 MW and two (2) 350 kW High Voltage Power Supplies, a mandatory twelve (12) month pre-acceptance secure storage period at the contractors facility, an option for six (6) additional months of storage, and final F.o.b. Destination delivery to the operational site.SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to manufacture, test, store, and deliver six (6) complete, fully functional HVPS units in strict accordance with the forthcoming Scope of Work (SOW). These units are a critical component of the nations aquatic invasive species defense system. This will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), IFB procurement in accordance with FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding. The Government intends to award to the lowest priced bidder deemed responsible.
