The City of Fort Myers is seeking contractors for fencing repair and replacement under a disaster contract. The scope includes concrete and asphalt core drilling for post installation, fence removal and haul away for various fence heights, installation of new galvanized or vinyl fencing, installation of swing and roll gates, wood posts and rail fence installation, and material and installation of Class A security gates. The contract includes liquidated damages of $1,000 per day for each overdue task, limited to $10,000. Bids are to be submitted electronically, with a pre-bid meeting scheduled both in person and virtually.
