The Department of Veterans Affairs, 260-Network Contract Office 20, is seeking sources for advanced optical lens production equipment for the VISN 5 Optical Fabrication Laboratory. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs - 260-Network Contract Office 20 - OEM Highlight: - Satisloh is the specified OEM for the requested equipment - Products/Equipment Requested: - High-speed ophthalmic lens surfacing machine (brand name Satisloh VFT-orbit-2i or equal) - Must process up to 100 lenses per hour (120 with performance package) - Capable of generating all lens formats: single vision (SV), lined multifocal, progressive addition lenses (PAL), and freeform surfaces - Supports all organic lens materials (excluding glass) - Features include: 35,000 RPM milling spindle, multi-axis CNC controls, energy-saving power-save mode, robotic loading compatibility, air bearing spindle with predictive maintenance, autocalibration, and integration with Satisloh and Ocuco lab management software - Includes Enhanced Intelligence and Diamond Performance kits, operating wrenches, and instruction manual - Additional peripherals: conveyor, collet chuck, 2nd fast tool option, and performance packs - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Equipment must be compatible with existing Satisloh and Ocuco lab management software - Must include performance kits and be capable of robotic loading - Domestic end product sources are required - Equipment must meet all attached salient characteristics

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.

The Government is seeking domestic end product sources of supply for a brand name or equal Satisloh VFT-orbit-2i lens generator, Converyor VFT-orbit-2i ISC (btF), Collet chuck VFT12-leaf standard, 2nd Fast Tool option VFT-orbit-2i, Peformance packs, and peripherals.

This order shall meet the attached salient charcteristics.
