The City of Bismarck is seeking qualified contractors to replace the radiant tube heating system at its landfill baler building. - Government Buyer: - City of Bismarck, Public Works Service Operations, Office of the City Administrator - OEMs and Vendors: - CoRay Vac (specified as the current system and as an acceptable OEM for replacement) - Acceptable alternatives: Any manufacturer of comparable infrared (IR) heating tube systems - Products/Services Requested: - Demolition and removal of the existing CoRay Vac radiant tube heating system - Furnishing and installation of a new IR or CoRay Vac heating tube system (1 system) - Startup, testing, adjustment, and commissioning of the new system - Training for maintenance personnel on the new system - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Replacement system must meet safety, code, and energy efficiency standards - Contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, permits, and documentation - Lump sum pricing required for demolition and installation - Training for maintenance staff is mandatory - Bidders must hold a valid North Dakota Contractor’s License and provide a 5% bid bond - Insurance coverage of $2,000,000 for general and automobile liability, with the City named as additional insured - Bids valid for 45 days; City reserves right to accept or reject any/all bids
