Description

The Deschutes-Ochoco SRS Resource Advisory Committee (RAC) will hold a public meeting on September 3, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PDT. The committee is authorized under the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act and provides advice and recommendations to the Forest Service on projects and funding consistent with Title II of the Act. It also makes recommendations on recreation fee proposals for sites on the Deschutes and Ochoco National Forests, in accordance with the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act. The meeting will be held both in person at the Deschutes National Forest Supervisors Office in Bend, Oregon, and virtually via videoconference.
