The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive, full-service elevator maintenance at multiple sites in Oklahoma City, including the Air Traffic Control Tower (OKC ATCT). - Government Buyer: - Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) - AAQ-500 Regional Acquisitions, Office: AAQ520FTW-AFN - Scope of Work: - Full-service elevator maintenance, including inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, and emergency response - Coverage required 24/7, 365 days a year - Contractor must ensure 97% operational availability and limit unscheduled outages to no more than 4 per quarter - Emergency response required within 2 hours (general) and 1 hour (entrapment) - All parts used must be OEM or equal - Annual and five-year testing required, witnessed by FAA inspectors - 24-hour emergency telephone monitoring and compliance with ASME A17.1 safety codes - Performance penalties for exceeding outage thresholds - Option to add more elevators during contract term - Products/Services Requested: - Elevator maintenance for a base year and four option years (total of five years) - Emergency repair/maintenance CLIN for unplanned repairs (up to 50% of contract value) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strict response times for emergencies and entrapments - Performance-based penalties for excessive outages - All work must comply with FAA security, insurance, and labor standards - Prohibition on certain foreign telecommunications equipment - Contractor must provide qualified elevator mechanics and maintain cleanliness/safety standards - All parts must be OEM or equal; no specific elevator OEMs or models are named in the solicitation - No specific elevator brands, models, or part numbers are provided in the solicitation or attachments.

Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking competent and qualified elevator maintenance contractors interested in providing offers for a Full Service Elevator Maintenance Contract for the OKC ATCT with the option of adding more elevators over the lifetime of the contract.

The contract will be 7 days per week, 24 hours per day. Whenever called by authorized personnel (7 days per week, 24 hours per day), the vendor must respond promptly, within 2 hours. In no case may the arrival time exceed 1 hour for entrapment conditions, regardless the time of day and with no additional cost to the government. Please see SIR Package for Proposal requirements.
