Description

This project involves forestry mulching at Jones Swamp Wetland Preserve in southwest Escambia County, adjacent to 1451 Carrick Avenue. The scope includes reducing mid-story brush and trees up to 8 inch DBH using a low ground pressure ASV loader with forestry mulcher attachment, grinding all live trees and shrubs less than 8 inch DBH to existing grade, felling and grinding all dead snags, clearing within the flagged area, restoring excessive ruts manually, and leaving mulched material on the ground surface.
