USS Rushmore (LSD-47) Stern Gate Operation Room Repairs and Related Services in Sasebo, Japan

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka (NAVSUP FLC YOKOSUKA), under the Department of the Navy, is seeking competitive proposals for ship repair and maintenance services for the USS Rushmore (LSD-47) in Sasebo, Japan. - Scope of work includes: - Preservation of Stern Gate Operation Room No.2 (3-138-2-Q) - Structural repair on the transom - Repair of stern gate hydraulic components - Replacement of stem gate rubber gaskets - Repair of the port side (PS) stern gate emergency operation guide sheave chain stopper - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Only companies authorized to operate in Japan and holding a Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) in the Japan region are eligible - Attachments with further technical details are restricted to eligible MSRA/ABR holders - Contractors must comply with DFARS 252.225-7042 requirements; non-Japan-based firms are not eligible

The work is to be performed in “SASEBO”, JAPAN.

This solicitation is intended only for sources duly authorized to operate and do business in “JAPAN”, as prescribed by DFARS 225.1103 (3), 252.225-7042. 

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Yokosuka Site “ SASEBO ” intends to issue a competitive solicitation for the USS RUSHMORE (LSD-47) STERN GATE OPERATION ROOM NO.2 3-138-2-Q PRESERVE, ELM-245219 ITEM 10-2 STRUCTURAL REPAIR ON TRANSOM ACCOMPLISH, STERN GATE HYDRAULIC COMPONENT REPAIR, STEM GATE RUBBER GASKET REPLACE, PS STERN GATE EMER OPN GULDE SHEAVE CHAIN STOPPER REPAIR to Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) and capable Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) holders in “Japan”. Please ensure that your company meets these criteria and provides any necessary documentation to demonstrate your authorization to perform this work in “ Japan “.

Contractors located OUTSIDE Japan that do NOT unambiguously demonstrate compliance with DFARS 252.225-7042 will NOT be eligible to receive an award. Any Offeror who do NOT possess an active MSRA or ABR in the Japan region, or does NOT agree to execute a master agreement (MSRA/ABR) in the Japan Region before award of a job order, will NOT be eligible to receive an award.  Access to Attachments: Attachments are Restricted/CUI and accessible only to authorized MSRA/ABR holders in Japan. Eligible holders who cannot access the files should contact the Contract Specialist directly via email. Access requests from non-eligible sources will be rejected.
