Synopsis:

The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity, Healthcare Contracting Division – West, Charlie Branch is conducting market research to identify contractors capable of providing Reference Laboratory services for the US Naval Hospital, Guam.

The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541380 – Testing Laboratories and Services with a size standard $19.0M. NAICS code compliance verification will occur if/when quotes are submitted.

Responses to Request for Information:

Contractors are reminded that this is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION and is NOT a request for quote.

Responses to this notice shall not constitute responses to solicitation. Responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This Request for Information is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. Respondents will not be notified of the results of any government assessments.

It is requested that interested businesses submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement. The capabilities statement must clearly detail the company's ability to perform all aspects of this notice and must include the following:

a) Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, and a statement regarding the socio-economic status of the company (e.g. small business).

b) Confirmation that your company can meet the certifications required in the PWS.

c) Relevant Experience providing support services identified in the DRAFT PWS to include experience in performing Reference Laboratory services to patients. Please include a brief description of the service, contract number, and contract value.

No questions will be answered. The information received will be utilized to assist in formulating the acquisition.
