USCG Solicitation for Southwest Research Institute Antennas (PN 10199-1100-02)

This opportunity is a solicitation from the US Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) for specialized antennas. - The USCG SFLC is seeking to procure three (3) antennas, NSN 5985-01-676-7949, part number 10199-1100-02. - The antennas must be manufactured by Southwest Research Institute Inc. (CAGE Code 26401). - Only Southwest Research Institute Inc. or their authorized distributors may supply these items. - Distributors must provide a letter from the OEM confirming their authorized status. - No substitutions are permitted unless specifically approved by USCG SFLC technical experts. - Strict packaging and labeling requirements apply: - Packaging must comply with MIL-STD-20731E and MIL-STD-129P (with Change 4). - Electrostatic discharge precautions and indoor storage labeling are required. - Non-compliant shipments will be returned for repackaging at the vendor's expense. - This is a limited-source procurement due to the OEM requirement. - No services are being procured; this is for product supply only.

It is the Government’s belief that only the OEM, SOUTHWEST RESEARCH INSTITUTE INC. CAGE CODE 26401 , or their authorized distributors, can obtain the required technical and engineering data and genuine OEM parts required to successfully provide these items. Authorized distributors who have the business concern and the required capabilities to provide these items are invited to submit a quote.  If you submit a quote for this solicitation, IT MUST include a letter from the OEM, SOUTHWEST RESEARCH INSTITUTE INC CAGE CODE 26401, verifying your company is an authorized distributor.

CONDITIONS / CLIMATES. PART MUST BE APPROPRIATELY SECURED, AND CUSHIONED BY FOAM OR

BUBBLE WRAP TO PREVENT EXCESSIVE MOVEMENT AND DAMAGE DURING SHIPPING.
