The University of Waterloo Sight Enhancement Equipment Pool and Assessment Centre (SEEPAC) is seeking bids on portable video-based closed-circuit television (CCTV) equipment designed specifically as a reading device for persons with visual impairments. The equipment must be specially designed as an assistive device for this function to be eligible. The purchased equipment will be used in the Ontario Ministry of Health’s Assistive Devices Program (ADP) Sight Enhancement Equipment Pool (SEEPAC) for lease to eligible Ontario residents. The contract duration is estimated to be 13 months, starting from November 10, 2026.
