The U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Force Protection Systems Division is seeking industry input for a Product Support Business Case Analysis (PS-BCA) for the Integrated Base Defense Security System (IBDSS) portfolio. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Force Protection Systems Division (AFLCMC/ESS) - Scope of Analysis: - PS-BCA will cover the following IBDSS programs: - Fixed Site Electronic Security System (ESS) - Remote Target Engagement System (RTES) - Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) - Deployable-Mobile Security Awareness Tool (DMSAT) - Tactical Security System (TSS) - Services Requested: - Comprehensive business case analysis for product support alternatives - Evaluation of sustainment strategies over a 20-year period - Addressing COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) obsolescence, logistics for geographically dispersed systems, cyber sustainment, transition planning, technical data management, supply chain risk, and configuration management - No specific OEMs, vendors, products, or part numbers are named - Unique Requirements: - Focus on long-term (20-year) sustainment and risk modeling for a diverse, complex security system portfolio - Emphasis on white paper responses (up to 5 pages) to inform future support strategies - No procurement is committed at this stage; this is a Request for Information (RFI) to gather industry feedback
