The 6th Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) at MacDill Air Force Base is soliciting the procurement and installation of a new ID badging system for Building 49 to enhance facility security. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 6th Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS), MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL - OEMs and Vendors: - HID Global (OEM of Signo PIV 40 FIPS card readers) - Products/Services Requested: - 7 HID Signo PIV 40 FIPS card reader systems (part number: 40HNKS-03-00059X or HID 40HNKS-03-00059X), or equivalent - Installation of card readers and ancillary equipment - Staff training on the new system - Managed access control services, including: - Priority phone and onsite support during business hours - Full equipment and labor warranty (excluding misuse, vandalism, acts of God, and batteries) - 24/7 emergency Network Operations Center (NOC) support - Service and support for a base year plus four option years - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Card readers must be compatible with DoD CAC cards - System must operate independently from the Air Force Network and Windows 11 - Centralized access to data logs via a dedicated termination hub in the communications room - 12-month warranty with options for four additional years of support

Description

The 6th Logistics Readiness Squadron located on MacDill AFB, Tampa FL, is seeking toinstall a new ID badging system. The readers will be installed and will operate independently of the Air Force Network.The reader will be connected to a dedicated termination HUB located in the Comm room of building 49 to allow for centralized access to data logs.
