This opportunity is a pre-solicitation for a 5-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to supply metal name tags for USAF and USSF Basic Military Trainees at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland. - The 502d Contracting Squadron (502 CONS CL) is requesting pre-bid submission of six (6) metal name tag samples for technical evaluation: - Four (4) USAF metal name tags engraved with 'CARTER' and 'BINET-IRIZARRY' in all caps, using USAF color Pantone 2747C - Two (2) USSF metal name tags engraved with 'HAILEY LOCKETT' in all caps, using USSF color Pantone 2188C - The BPA will cover approximately 40,500 USAF and 930 USSF name tags annually, for both trainees and prior service personnel - Name tags must meet The Institute of Heraldry (TIOH) standards, with specific requirements for materials (Brass or Nickel Silver), dimensions (3/4" x 3" x 0.025"), finish (nickel/silver plated, matte, brushed), font (block or SL513 Portuguese), and packaging (protective tube and polybag) - Delivery timelines: 14 calendar days for trainees, 3 business days for prior service personnel, and 3 business days for reorders/corrections at no cost - Orders will be placed weekly (USAF) or quarterly (USSF) via fax, email, or phone - The procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside under NAICS 332999 - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; this is an open opportunity for qualified small businesses - Funds are not currently available; this is a pre-bid sample submission process

SAMPLE BASIC MILITARY TRAINING (BMT) METAL NAME TAGS SAMPLE SUBMISSION. 

This Special Notice is issued to provide specific instructions to potential quoters for the mandatory pre-bid submission of six (6) Metal Name Tag samples as follows:

Four (4) USAF samples engraved with the names, CARTER, and BINET-IRIZARRY with the USAF color Pantone 2747C.  Names must be all caps. Two (2) USSF samples engraved with the name HAILEY LOCKETT with the USSF color Pantone 2188C.  Names must be all caps.

The address for where the samples must be sent is included in the attached Statement of Work. Additional details regarding this Special Notice is also attached.
