This opportunity is for the repair and reconstruction of interior masonry walls, drywall, and roof decking at Tinker Air Force Base, Building 8400, under the management of the U.S. Air Force, 72nd Air Base Wing, Civil Engineering.
- Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 72nd Air Base Wing (72 ABW), Civil Engineering (72 ABW/CE), Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma - Scope of Work: - Demolition and reconstruction of CMU (concrete masonry unit) and partition walls - Drywall repair and replacement, including finishing and painting - Roof deck repair and installation of steel decking and accessories - Wall bracing, stitching, and reinforcement using welded steel plates and anchors - Limited electrical work (demolition and installation of receptacles and conduits) - Environmental abatement (asbestos, lead-based paint) and hazardous material handling - Demolition and deconstruction services, including salvage and waste management - Quality control, safety, and environmental compliance throughout the project - Submittals for design, quality control, as-built drawings, and warranty management - Training for building maintenance personnel and O&M data package preparation - Products and Materials Requested: - Masonry products: clay/shale brick, glazed brick, cement, grout, reinforcement steel bars, wall ties, joint reinforcement, fire-rated CMU, and more - Structural steel: wide flange shapes, angles, channels, plates, steel tubing, bolts, anchor rods, welding materials, galvanized coatings - Steel decking: roof deck, composite deck, form deck, galvanized steel angles, fasteners, closure strips, sump pans, and accessories - Metal support systems: galvanized/aluminum-coated steel for framing, furring, and ceiling suspension - Gypsum board: regular, foil-backed, fire-resistant, mold-resistant, abuse-resistant, water-resistant, glass mat, cementitious backer units, joint treatment materials, adhesives, fasteners - Electrical materials: conduits, cable trays, panelboards, circuit breakers, receptacles, transformers, lighting fixtures, warning signs, nameplates - Services Requested: - Construction, demolition, and deconstruction services - Environmental abatement and hazardous material monitoring - Quality control management, testing, and inspection - Design and engineering services, including geotechnical investigation - Training and O&M data preparation for facility staff - Warranty management and post-construction inspection - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Compliance with UFC, ASTM, AISC, AWS, NEMA, and other federal and industry standards - Special inspections for masonry and steel work - Environmental protection measures, including tree protection, spill prevention, and storm water management - Strict safety protocols for airfield operations and vehicle access - Project is set aside for 8(a) sole source and subject to Buy American requirements - Facility remains occupied during construction; work generally during normal duty hours - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or proprietary brands are named; products must comply with referenced standards and specifications - Estimated Contract Value: - $100,000 to $250,000 (firm fixed price construction contract) - Period of Performance: - Work must begin within 10 calendar days of award and be completed within 180 calendar days after notice to proceed - Includes warranty period and post-acceptance inspection

THIS ORDER PROPOSAL REQUEST IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO 8(a) Sole Source - KWAAN

The work to be performed under the terms of this Order consists of furnishing all materials, labor, plant, tools, transportation, equipment, testing services, quality control and incidentals required to accomplish the repair of the interior masonry wall damage, drywall, and roof decking at Tinker Air Force Base (AFB), Oklahoma (reference the project drawings for additional location information).

ONLY IF FUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE: IAW FAR 52.232-18 Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Governments obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
