Procurement and Installation of Custom Wall-Mounted Window Shades for Boise VA Medical Center

The Boise VA Medical Center is seeking a contractor to supply and install 63 wall-mounted window shades for its new Primary Care / Mental Health Building. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, Regional Procurement Office West, Boise VA Medical Center - Products Requested: - 63 wall-mounted window shades in total - 32 upper window shades (manual roller, operated by removable extension wand) - 31 lower window shades (manual roller, cord-loop or chain-loop operated with tensioned hold-down devices) - Shades in various sizes: upper (65x29, 60x29, 44x29, 37x29 inches), lower (139x60, 104x60, 100x60, 87x60, 54x60, 44x60, 37x60 inches) - All shades must be ivory-colored basketweave fabric with 5% openness, metal fascia, endcaps, and hem bars - Services Requested: - Delivery and installation of all window shades, including on-site measurements, cleanup, and coordination with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Shades must meet or exceed all minimum specifications in the Statement of Work - Installation must be completed by the specified deadline - Vendor must perform on-site measurements prior to fabrication - Installation may require work during standard business hours, with possible night/weekend work upon request - No specific OEMs or brands are named in the solicitation - Detailed technical and aesthetic requirements are provided in the SOW

All information received in response to this notice will be treated as proprietary and will not be shared with other interested parties. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought notice. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This Sources Sought Notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract. The Boise VA Medical Center (BVAMC) requires a contractor to provide and install sixty-three (63) wall-mounted window shades (WWS) that meet or exceed all critical minimum requirements and the specifications outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor must supply 32 upper window shades and 31 lower window shades, in varying sizes as specified in the SOW, and install them in the new Primary Care / Mental Health Building to allow control of shading in the new building, benefiting both staff and veterans. All window shades must be delivered and installed no later than (NLT) October 16, 2026. Please see SOW for the Salient Characteristics breakdown of the equipment and service requested.
