NASA is seeking a sole source provider for the fabrication and assembly of high-reliability, 22-layer Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for the High-Performance Spaceflight Computing (HPSC) processor card at Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). - Sole source procurement to SIERRA CIRCUITS, INC., identified as the only capable provider - Requirement includes: - Fabrication of six (6) bare, 22-layer PCBs meeting NASA and IPC standards for the autoNGC HPSC design IRAD - Assembly, testing, and delivery of one (1) fully assembled PCB per provided Bill of Materials and assembly drawings - All boards must be delivered within 20 calendar days after order receipt and finalized manufacturing files - Deliverables must include Certificates of Conformance, test reports, and meet strict packaging requirements (damage, moisture, ESD protection) - NAICS code: 334418 (Printed Circuit Assembly) - Interested vendors may submit capability statements, but SIERRA CIRCUITS, INC. is currently determined to be the sole source - No specific part numbers provided; quantities are six bare PCBs and one assembled PCB

VENDORS MUST REFERENCE THE NOTICE ID WHEN SUBMITTING A CAPABILITY STATEMENT. 

Synopsis:

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for PCB FABRICATION AND ASSEMBLY OF HPSC PROCESSOR CARD. 

NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to SIERRA CIRCUITS, INC: 1108 W EVELYN AVE | SUNNYVALE, CA 94086 under the authority of FAR 12.102(a). It has been determined that SIERRA CIRCUITS, INC is the sole provider of PCB FABRICATION AND ASSEMBLY OF HPSC PROCESSOR CARD.

NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will be located at NASA/ Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC).

The Government intends to acquire Commercial items or services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 for Commercial

The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334418.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on 7/29/2026. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
