Description

The Authority provides the Access-A-Ride (AAR) Service, an origin-to-destination, demand responsive, shared ride paratransit service for individuals meeting eligibility criteria under the ADA. The service is exclusively for transporting Customers, PCAs, and Guests. The AAR Service operates under two models: dedicated, where contractors use Authority-owned vehicles leased to them, and non-dedicated, involving broker car services, taxis, and supplemental carriers. The contractor for this solicitation will provide the AAR Service under the dedicated model as a primary carrier.
