Visa Patio Roof Canopy Replacement and Maintenance for U.S. Embassy Bogota

The U.S. Embassy Bogota, under the U.S. Department of State Facility Management Office, is soliciting comprehensive maintenance and partial replacement services for the Visa Patio roof canopy. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of State, American Embassy Bogota, Facility Management Office - Scope of Work: - Removal and certified disposal of deteriorated polycarbonate roofing and electrical components - Installation of 1,000 m2 of 50mm thick UVPVC sandwich panels for roofing - Anti-corrosive painting of 1,000 m2 of steel structure - Replacement of 38 light lamps and installation of 18 new lamps (including all wiring and connection elements) - Installation of 10 new electrical outlets - Certification and upgrade of anchoring points system for safe work at heights - Structural assessment and re-certification of steel framework and anchoring points - Electrical infrastructure upgrades to comply with RETIE, NTC 2050, and NEC standards - Cleaning and operational verification of the existing audio system - General cleaning and site restoration after project completion - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All work must be performed by certified personnel following strict safety protocols - Compliance with local and international standards for electrical and structural work - Structural certification required for works at heights - Use of certified manlift equipment and dedicated safety supervision - Project must be completed within 120 calendar days from notice to proceed, with work primarily during evening hours - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are specified; UVPVC sandwich panels and electrical components are required but brands are not mandated.

Description

Enclosed is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for the Visa patio roofing replacement. If you would like to submit a quotation, follow the instructions in Section J of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown on the Standard Form that follows this letter.

The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial proposals, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.

Site visit will be held on July 30at 09:00, if you are interested in participating send an e-mail  to BogotaGSOCompras@state.gov with complete information of your company representatives before July 27, 2026 including the names and ID representatives

Question will be received before August 6, 2026 at 4:00 Pm to BogotaGSOCompras@state.gov.  Quotations are due by August 12, 2024 at 16:00 hours.   No quotations will be accepted after this time. Quotations must be in English and incomplete quotations will not be accepted.
