Requirement and Quotation Request The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center has a requirement and is requesting quotations for the following part: Item 1) 2940 01-493-8177 ODMS FILTER ELEMENT, FLUID MFG NAME: ROLLS-ROYCE SOLUTIONS GMBH PART NBR: 5501800016 QTY: 1600 Description and Packaging Requirements: THIS ITEM IS THE OIL FILTER ELEMENT PART OF THE MAIN DIESEL ENGINE. EACH ITEM SHALL BE INDIVIDUALLY PACKAGED IN ACCORDANCE WITH MIL-STD-2073-1E METHOD, CUSHIONED AS APPROPRIATE TO PREVENT MOVEMENT AND DAMAGE FROM EXTERNAL IMPACT. THEN, EACH ITEM SHALL BE PACKED IN AN APPROPRIATELY SIZED ASTM-D5118 DOUBLE-WALL FIBERBOARD BOX. EVERY PACKAGE SHALL BE MARKED IN ACCORDANCE WITH MIL-STD-129R, EXCEPT BAR CODED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ISO/IEC-16388-2007, CODE 39 SYMBOLOGY. FAILURE TO MEET PACKAGING, PACKING, MARKING, AND BAR-CODING REQUIREMENTS WILL RESULT IN REJECTION AND RETURN OF THE ITEM(S) TO THE VENDOR. Additional Information: Brand Name part is mandatory for consideration of award. Offers of “equal” products must meet the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics specified in this solicitation. The USCG will determine if an alternate part is acceptable. Solicitation Details: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, effective 10/1/2025, FAC Number 2025-06, as supplemented. This announcement is the only solicitation; quotations are requested, and no written solicitation will be issued. The NAICS code is 333998, with a business size standard of 500 employees. The purchase order will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13. Award Information: The USCG intends to award on an all-or-none basis to a responsible offeror whose conforming offer is most advantageous to the government. The award will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price.
