This opportunity is for the replacement and installation of solar hot water collector panels at the U.S. Embassy Abu Dhabi Compound, managed by the Department of State's Facility Management Office. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy Abu Dhabi, Facility Management Office - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or brands are named; the Embassy is supplying the new solar panels and mounting brackets - Products/Services Requested: - Replacement of 81 defective solar hot water collector panels (panels supplied by Embassy) - Installation of 324 stainless steel Z mounting brackets (supplied by Embassy) - Supply and installation of 15 collector plumbing kits (including automatic solar air vents and brass temperature sensor pockets) - Supply of copper pipes (Type L), fittings, valves, supports, clamps, anchors, ball isolation valves, relief valves, expansion joints, and other necessary materials for the collector piping loop - Complete dismantling, disposal, transportation, installation, plumbing, brazing, insulation, aluminum cladding, filling heat transfer fluid, testing, and commissioning - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Embassy supplies the solar panels and mounting brackets; contractor supplies all other materials and labor - 12-month warranty on workmanship and materials - Work must be completed within 30 working days from Notice to Proceed - VAT must be priced separately - Fixed-price contract - Compliance with Embassy work hours and possible after-hours work if approved

Description

The U.S. Embassy in Abu Dhabi invites competitive quotes to authorized vendor for the replacement of the existing solar panels with new solar panels for the compound hot water system per the schedule of supplies /services given below. If you would like to submit a quotation, carefully follow the instructions given in the solicitation package attached to this notice.

Quotations are due August 4, 2026, at 10:00 am (local time) No quotations will be accepted after this time. Your quotation must be submitted electronically to AbuDhabiContracts@state.gov with subject line “Quotation Enclosed – RFQ _PR16125426. Quotes must be in English, and price must be marked in local currency (AED). Incomplete quotes will not be considered.
