The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is seeking bids for three (3) 17ft Aluminum Flat Bottom Center Console Mud Boat packages for law enforcement use in shallow water environments. - Government Buyer: Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Purchasing and Contracting Office - Products Requested: - Three (3) 17ft Aluminum Flat Bottom Center Console Mud Boats - Must meet USCG and 33CFR Part 183 requirements - Features: flotation, hull design for shallow water, fuel tank, wiring, bilge pump, center console with hydraulic steering, flooring, seating, battery, LED spotlights and emergency lights, navigational lights, fire extinguisher, and all necessary cables and controls - Three (3) 40HP Surface Drive Outboard Motors - V-twin big block air-cooled engine, removable skeg and cavitation plate, gear-driven propeller, reverse remote steer, power trim and tilt, steering controls - Must be installed and fully operational on the boats - Three (3) Boat Trailers - Aluminum or galvanized, fully welded frame, axles for safe towing, new radial trailer-rated tires with spare, mechanical tongue jack, waterproof LED lighting, safety chains, tie down straps, treated wood or composite bunking, stainless/aluminum/galvanized hardware, mechanical winch, two-inch ball hitch, two boat buckles, compliant with federal and Texas highway laws - Notable Requirements: - All packages must be delivered fully assembled (boat, motor, trailer as a single unit) - Line-item costs for each component required for property reporting - Only licensed Marine Dealers, Manufacturers, or Manufacturer's Authorized Distributors may bid; documentation required for authorized distributors - Equipment must be new and include warranty - Delivery: Two packages to Temple, TX (Region 7 Office), one to Austin, TX (Special Operations) - Delivery or local pickup options available - OEMs and Example Models Referenced: - Pro-Drive (e.g., 17x54 SBX-Series TD Edition, RSCX40VAR) - Gator Tail (e.g., Enforcement Series 1754, GTR40XD-EFI) - Trailer brands: McClain, Magic Tilt, Coastline, or TPWD-approved equivalents
