Washington County Public Works Department is seeking a consultant to deliver final design engineering services for the County Road 50 (CR 50) and Trunk Highway 61 (TH 61) Intersection Improvement Project in Forest Lake, Minnesota. - Government Buyer: - Washington County Public Works Department (lead agency) - Coordination required with Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT), City of Forest Lake, and other agencies - Scope of Services: - Project management and coordination - Final design engineering for intersection improvements - Stakeholder and public engagement - Environmental documentation and permitting - Utility coordination, including integration of city utility plans - Preparation of construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates - Support during bidding and construction phases - Deliverables and Requirements: - All design files must be provided in MicroStation/ORD format - Documentation must be in Microsoft Office formats - All work must comply with Washington County and MnDOT standards - Funding and Project Phasing: - Design phase funded locally - Construction phase to be funded by a mix of federal, state, and local sources - No specific OEMs, vendors, or product part numbers are named in the solicitation - The project aims to improve safety, traffic flow, and multi-modal crossings at the intersection

Washington County Public Works Department is seeking proposals to hire a consultant for final design engineering services for the County Road 50 and Trunk Highway 61 Intersection Improvement Project. The project involves project coordination, final design engineering, stakeholder and public engagement, environmental documentation, utility coordination, permitting, and bidding and construction support. The consultant will manage project completion, maintain schedule and budget, and coordinate with various agencies including MnDOT and the City of Forest Lake. The design phase is locally funded, with future construction funded by federal, state, and local sources.
