Wire, Neoprene, URD, clean and dirty aluminum) - Copper (insulated and non-insulated) - Iron and steel (heavy metal, prepared/unprepared, shredder feed) - Red brass - White goods/appliances (hot water heaters, refrigerators, air conditioners, stoves, dishwashers, washers, dryers, microwaves) - Scrap wire, water meters, and electric meters - Provider must supply and maintain approximately 10 roll-off collection containers - Timely pick-up services required (within 24 hours of notification or weekly at minimum) - Provider responsible for marketing and record-keeping of materials - Compliance with all federal, state, county, and city regulations - Must be registered as a recyclables hauler with the City - Must meet specific insurance and safety requirements - Contract Structure: - Initial term of one year, with up to four additional one-year renewal options and a possible six-month extension - Revenues from recycled materials paid to the City based on prevailing market rates - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - The City may award to multiple vendors (primary, secondary, tertiary) and encourages innovative, cost-effective solutions
