Description

The City of Cedar Rapids Utilities Department is soliciting sealed bids for various pipe insulation projects at the Water Pollution Control Facility located at 7525 Bertram Rd. SE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The awarded contractor will provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to furnish and install thermal and/or protective insulation for piping systems as requested. Work includes insulating new and existing piping, installing vapor barriers and protective jacketing, sealing seams and joints, and restoring insulation disturbed during installation. Bids must be submitted electronically through the City's Online E-Procurement portal by August 14, 2026, and will be evaluated promptly after opening.
