Description

The Department of National Defence (DND), on behalf of the Defence Investment Agency (DIA), is inviting Canadian suppliers to qualify for the Defence Drone Initiative (DDI) Marketplace. This initiative aims to establish a pre-qualified supplier pool for Uncrewed and Autonomous Systems (UxS), counter-UxS capabilities, communications and data systems, engineering and integration services, testing and training, and innovation and experimentation activities. All supporting documentation and bid submissions for the first round of the Supply Arrangement must be submitted by August 14, 2026, at 14:00 EDT. An industry engagement event is scheduled for July 30 at 13:00 EDT.
