This opportunity involves the lease and support of refrigerated vehicles for U.S. Army operations in Peru: - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army, 410th Contracting Support Brigade (CSB), Theater Contracting Center - Americas - United States Army South (ARSOUTH) - Products/Services Requested: - Two (2) 20-foot refrigerated vehicles for mobile cold-chain support - Vehicles must maintain temperatures between 0°F and 40°F - Must include power cables, fuel, and power generation - Vehicles must comply with Peruvian Food Safety Act and local safety laws - Standard safety equipment required - Maintenance plan with: - Technician support available 24/7 - 2-hour on-site response, 4-hour repair, 6-hour replacement if unrepaired - Refueling twice daily - Scheduled transport of perishable items every three days between Tarapoto and Sauce, Peru - Delivery, operation, and removal of vehicles included - Defense Base Act (DBA) insurance for contractor employees working outside the U.S. - Insurance must be from an approved source and provided within 7 days of award - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Vehicles must be suitable for field feeding sites and comply with all local and U.S. safety and food handling regulations - Contractor vetting through the U.S. Embassy is required - Maintenance and technician support with strict response and replacement timelines - Cold-chain integrity must be maintained throughout transport - No specific OEMs or brands are named in the solicitation - Evaluation based on technical acceptability, past performance, and price

Description

The Contractor shall provide the Government with two (2) 20 foot refrigerated vehicles for mobile cold-chain support at the designated field feeding sites along with picking up perishable items in 5th BDE HQ, Tarapoto, Peru to be transported to Sauce, Peru. 

The period of performance shall be from 4 SEP 26 - 18 SEP 26.
