THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT DRILL THE 3/4 INCH HOLE THROUGH THE EXTENSION ROD AS

INDICATED ON DETAIL 51-C OF USCG DRAWING FL-2605-29 REV. L SHEET 7 (ELEVATION ZONE

51D). THIS HOLE WILL BE DRILLED IN THE FIELD AT TIME OF INSTALLATION.
