Set-asides, if applicable: The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Acquisitions and Grants Office, Western Acquisition Division-Seattle Simplified Acquisitions Branch, intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order, on a sole source basis, under the authority of RFO FAR 12.102(a) and 41 U.S.C. 1901, with REES Scientific for non-personal services to service and support for the REES Scientific Centron environmental monitoring system including calibration, validation, and on-site support for both system hardware and software. Codes for services or supplies: NAICS 513210 Description: (i) The requirement is for the REES Centron support services. The REES Centron’s hardware and software are proprietary thus the use of non-authorized providers would void warranties and may compromise system performance, data integrity, and compliance requirements. The system must undergo an annual calibration and validation in order to maintain regulatory compliance with the Food and Drug Administration and other regulatory bodies ; (ii) This presolicitation notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation package is available. However, firms that believe they can fully meet the Government’s requirements may submit substantiating documentation or a request for additional information in writing to the identified point of contact before the due date/ deadline of this SAM posting. Such requests and documentation will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to conduct a competitive procurement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. The anticipated award date is estimated to be August 2026.
